According to Axios, President Donald Trump is planning on limiting his coronavirus task force press briefings, which will see him appear less and less over time to discuss the weakening COVID-19.

The outlet is reporting that Trump will be reducing the time that he speaks at the press briefings, and some days might not see the president make an appearance at all. As a result, the briefings will be shortened.

Sources are saying that top advisers are suggesting to Trump that the coronavirus is now officially past its peak and that daily updates from the president are no longer needed.

We may have already witnessed the change as well, with Friday's task force briefing being much shorter than usual, lasting under 25 minutes in total and it included no question whatsoever from reporters. The week prior with last Friday's briefing, it would tally up to be one hour and 45 minutes.
