Give up your freedom for safety. At least that's what the Left and coronavirus Karens say.

You're a child and not responsible enough to make your own decisions. Yeah, you read that correctly. You're a child. And you can't make up your own mind. You're not allowed to express your independence, because, well, you're a child. At least that's what we're being told by our elected officials. You know, the people who are supposed to represent us rather than control us like a bunch of chattel. Yet, a lot of governors have chosen to take the direction of the latter.

In Mississippi, we saw a boat load of police officers, and I mean a ton of cop cars, up to 12, trying to shut down a drive-thru church service where literally everybody was social-distancing by staying in their cars. In Colorado, you had a dad who was handcuffed at a park for trying to enjoy some time with his daughter and get her out of the house for a bit. And here's the best part: He was arrested in front of his daughter.

Hell, in Pennsylvania, a man was dragged off of a bus by a load of police for not wearing a mask. And that's not all to come out of the Keystone State, where my mother and sister happen to live. You also had a woman who wanted to get out of the house for awhile, and decided to do so by having a drive alone to ease her tensions and worries. But nope, you can't do that either, and they slapped her with a $200 fine.

And let's get to California, where someone was actually arrested for paddle boarding. Never mind that he was social distancing while in the ocean for God sakes, let's arrest him anyways.

That's the kind of tyranny that we've been dealing with, and that's not even all of it. I could compile a whole list for you across the country, but I pretty much took care of that already.

But back out on the West Coast, of course, that's not the only thing to come out of the borderline communist state of California. Let's go ahead and also bring up the fact that the LAPD would raid the birthday party of a one-year-old, saying that it was justified because of this social distancing nonsense.

And speaking of California, both them and the state of New York are telling their citizens to tell on one another for not "social distancing."

I'm not even kidding you. Here is the mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, pretty much telling all citizens to act like kindergartners and tattletale on people who aren't listening to the rules. This is really where we've gotten.

Well, it didn't exactly go as planned for the mayor of New York City, as many people tweeted negatively to his fascist rubbish.

Here are some of the reactions:

Needless to say, it didn't go well at all for de Blasio, and why would it?

New Yorkers are one thing, but Americans, period, are a different species of people. You can't just run things like a tyrannical king against us, we're just a different breed. Does 1776 not ring a bell to anyone?

Apparently it does to the everyday American, and a lot of people are fighting back, as they should. And to all of those patriots out there, keep up the good work. You're certainly doing your part to save the economy and our livelihoods, which really equates to saving people's lives.

Which brings me to this talking point that the Left keeps repeating: "Everybody on the Right is putting money over lives."

Do these people not understand that the economy will effect (and it's already starting to in flying colors) a lot more lives than that of the coronavirus?

22 million people are unemployed, small businesses are being destroyed, even large companies are having a hard time dealing with this pandemic. People are out here with no money, without any food to eat, worried about getting kicked out of their apartments or houses -- all of this because the economy is shut down.

So back to that talking point about how we're putting money over lives. Are we? Or are we actually caring more about human life than what the Left is?

It's a fair question, but also a divisive question. I really have no interest in playing that game with the Left, but that's the trash that side of the aisle has been on for quite some time. Like, when The New York Times actually had the audacity to blame Fox News for coronavirus deaths. Seriously?

Yeah, seriously:

Let's just ignore the little tidbit about China lying, covering everything up and giving the entire globe very limited information when they finally had to let the cat out of the bag.

"Fox News did it, not the communists!"

UPDATE:

This is the Left. The side who doesn't actually care about human life (maybe I will play that game after all) -- Nancy Pelosi withholding Americans' funding and being an elitist on late night television eating expensive ice cream while laughing it up proves that.

The Democrats are just taking advantage of the situation, holding Americans hostage in order to push through their policies. They did it when this whole thing first started, and they're doing it now.

"Oh, you're just a ring-wing conspiracy theorist."

No, these kinds of thoughts are actually coming out of the Left's mouth when you look at Rep. James Clyburn, a South Carolina Democrat who happens to be the House Majority Whip. He would tell his fellow Dems that COVID-19 was a "tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision."

Yes, he actually said that.

It sounds familiar to when the former mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, stated: "You don't ever want a crisis to go to waste It's an opportunity to do things you would otherwise avoid."

We all remember how disastrous things were when this whole thing got kicked off, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi completely taking advantage of COVID-19 to put in all sort of left-wing extremist policies.

The Democrats wanted $50 million in legal services for the poor, $75 million into federal arts programs and they also wanted $25 million invested into the Kennedy Center. After all, congressmen have every right to catch up on their favorite television shows. They wanted a massive amount of money for abortions and fetal tissue research, wanted to mandate national early voting (as well as same-day voter registration and absentee balloting without voter ID) to weaken safeguards in the state election system.

That's not all, we're not done yet. The Democrats were also calling for student loan forgiveness, "green" offsets on carbon and they wanted to have a "diversity" agenda for corporations to deal with -- like they don't have enough to worry about while running a business, especially during this pandemic and planning for the aftermath. At the same time, the Left wanted to have a massive expansion of our federal welfare program.

The Democratic Party, man.

But when it comes to the Left having consistent power trips, can you blame them?

The amount of people that are out here enabling them and the tyrannical laws that have been put in place are stunning. People aren't understanding that their constitutional rights are being taken away, they're being taken advantage of while in the middle of COVID-19 and the federal government just gains more and more power in the process of this entire thing.

But we have to be safe, right?

Look at some of the ridiculousness, these tweets in regards to the Michigan protest:

"Bring in the national guard! Arrest them!"

Sure, why not bring in full-out martial law while we're at it?

There really are people out here who are willingly enabling a tyrannical government, actually calling for the military to be used, which is absolutely incredible to me. Not just for them giving into the power, but they're giving into the power of an entity that is currently ran by a mean orange bully that the Left ever so despises.

"Stay home! Listen to the government and save lives! By the way, the leader of the government is bad!"

That's pretty much what's coming from the Left and their enablers.

It's honestly plain and simple for what people are protesting about, and it's happening all over the country in different states such as Michigan, Texas, Ohio, Minnesota, New Jersey and so on. And it's the fact that people need to get back to work, we need to get things moving again. We cannot have a crashed economy.

I don't want to hear the "money over lives" talking point. The economy crumbling will do far more damage than the coronavirus ever will. People have lost jobs, livelihoods, can barely get food, etc. You say I don't care about people's lives, then I could just easily respond by saying you don't care about children starving because of no paycheck for their parents.

Now I'm fine with social distancing, I'm fine with opening up sporting events with no fans at first, I'm fine with going out in public wearing masks and gloves (which I will personally be doing when we can finally go outside with freedom), I'm fine with businesses and arenas testing people's fever before they come in, I'm fine with all of these precautions. At least people get to choose if they're going somewhere or not.

All I'm asking for is this: Re-open the economy, let people go back to their jobs and let's get back to roaring how we were. The longer this goes on, the worst things will be economically for all of us when we get out of lockdown. We don't want a recession, and we sure as hell don't want a depression. It'll be a lot worse than COVID-19, I promise you, and the enablers will see it once they have no more food on the dinner table. We can't continue down this path, and we have to get out as quick as possible. The damage could be tremendously deadly if we wait too long.

And do I need to go into the skyrocketing depression, suicide and domestic abuse rate that is currently taking place in the middle of this pandemic? What about the increase of alcoholism?

It's not just a financial angle. Give people their freedom, allow them to have the choice to either go somewhere or be a homebody, let people exercise their right to make money and support their families. What it all boils down to is freedom of choice. (And no, I'm not talking about the form of where the Left blatantly murders a baby.) People have their God-given constitutional rights, and they have every right to protect them.

We're not children. We don't need other adults, that by the way we elected, to tell us what we can and cannot do. We should have the ability as adults to make whatever decision we want to. Sure, we can do it safely, but safety shouldn't have to come with giving away your freedom and suffering from a tanked economy.

But I already know what the Leftist would sarcastically say: "Freedom! Murika!"

And that's the problem, that's how we've even gotten to this point where we're seeing draconian laws in the United States of America out of all places.

Enablers. Or better yet: Karens. And Karens gon' Karen.
