According to federal data obtained by Breitbart News, around 28.4 million mail-in ballots have disappeared since the 2012 election, which adds up to four different election cycles.

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission and the Election Administration and Voting Surveys, where the data was collected from, states that nearly 30 million mail-in ballots from registered voters would go missing in each the 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 election cycles.

Two presidential cycles ago in 2012, there were over 33 million mail-in ballots that were sent out to registered voters. However, close to four million of those would go missing, as well as over 425,000 being undeliverable and nearly 260,000 were denied.

In 2014, that number would increase even higher, with a total of over eight million mail-in ballots disappearing. 29.2 million mail-in ballots would be sent out to registered voters in that election. After the eight million tally (approximately 8.2 million) of missing ballots, over 610,000 were listed as undeliverable, while 269,000 were denied.

"Vote by mail is a disaster," said Public Legal Interest Foundation (PLIF) President J. Christian Adams to Breitbart News via a statement. "People who think it works haven't studied the failures. The facts show mail voting doesn't work."
