Meet Andrew Powell.
Andrew Powell's career originally got started while in the music industry. He attended Full Sail University majoring in Music Business. While in the industry, Powell would put out two projects that would gain popularity across the East Coast of the United States.
After a few years in music, Powell would switch career fields going from the music industry to music and sports journalism. His journalism career would eventually take the turn into sports full-time, getting his first job at the newspaper, Williamsport Sun-Gazette. After just a few months working as a writer, Powell would then get hired as the Sports Editor of The Lock Haven Express. He would also have his own sports radio show The Andrew Powell Show that was broadcasted from 2015-2017 on FOX Sports Radio 96.9 FM/1340 AM in Hopewell, Virginia. Powell would study journalism through the University of Michigan.
In 2018, while under the brand of The Lock Haven Express, Powell was nominated for Pennsylvania Media Member of the Year due to his work at the newspaper.
Powell would then get involved in the political realm, where he remains active today. His first job came as the Marketing Director of the Judah Powers (R-NY) for New York City Council 2017 campaign. Later that year, Powell would then get hired as the Campaign Manager of Lateresa Jones (R-FL) for U.S. Senate 2018. He also held a brief stint with Mad World News as a political columnist and would also host his own political radio show (also under The Andrew Powell Show umbrella) before exiting for campaign season.
In 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Powell launched his own official website and conservative political news outlet, The Powell Times, as well as his right-wing podcast in The Andrew Powell Show (Re-launching soon). You can read and listen to the work of Andrew Powell on .
Powell would also do campaign advisory work with the Republican Party, helping Pennsylvania State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz to a re-election victory in the Commonwealth's 76th District.
Powell's first book 2020: A Year So Wild I Had To Write a Book About It is expected to be released the first quarter of 2021.
Andrew Powell is currently employed as an Editor/Writer of Streamline Media covering the realms of sports, politics and entertainment where he has been working since late 2018, though is currently inactive for the outlet due to COVID-19.
